Perched on the edge of a serene lake, Founders Inn and Spa is a charming destination with classic decor and lakeside views. A colonial-style resort in Virginia Beach’s tranquil Indian River Road with a 26-acre estate garden, the resort is renowned for its attentive service, warm atmosphere and wide range of amenities and activities to enjoy throughout one's stay.

Rooms are bright and classically designed, and feature all the modern amenities one needs for a pleasant stay. Guests can visit the on-site Flowering Almond Spa for a treatment or two, and the resort also has two on-site dining options: The Swan Terrace Restaurant, which serves traditional colonial cuisine, and The Hunt Room, which offers American dishes with a backdrop of live entertainment.

On days when relaxation is priority, swim in the indoor or outdoor pool, play tennis or take a shuttle to the beach. Those visiting during November can admire the resort's annual Grand Illumination, where the garden is lit up with thousands of lights and decorations for the holiday season.
