Big Meadows Lodge
A rustic retreat in the heart of Shenandoah National Park, Big Meadows Lodge is a historic lodge that offers a relaxing and authentic experience among nature. Built in 1939, the lodge features a variety of rooms, cabins and suites, some with fireplaces, air-conditioning for the summer and private balconies. The lodge also has an atmospheric Great Room, where you can curl up by the stone fireplace, play board games or enjoy live entertainment.
Surrounded by stunning views of the mountains, meadows and forests, Big Meadows Lodge is close to many hiking trails, waterfalls and wildlife. When you get peckish, dig into a delicious meal at the Spottswood Dining Room, which serves seasonal dishes, or grab a snack at the Big Meadows Wayside. Part of the Skyline Drive Historic District, this is a place that makes you truly appreciate the beauty of nature while staying here.
