Chesapeake Bay

Maryland’s defining feature, Chesapeake Bay is the largest estuary in the United States situated between Maryland, northern Viriginia and the Atlantic Ocean. An incredible body of water, its watershed comes from 150 rivers and streams, as well as hundreds of smaller tributaries, and any local will tell you this is a place to escape the land and find freedom out on the water.

Go boating, fishing or sailing on the waters, and catch a sunrise or sunset while you’re at it.
