The Alex Johnson Hotel is a landmark property in the state of South Dakota’s, with it’s German-Tudor-inspired architecture and Native American motifs. Since its opening in 1928, it’s hosted several presidents, celebrities and even, it is said, a few ghosts. The hotel is a member of the Curio Collection by Hilton, and combines modern amenities with historical charm.

Each room features unique décor, with handcrafted furniture, original artwork and cosy beds. Depending on the accommodation, some rooms also have a fireplace, a whirlpool tub, or a balcony with a view of the city or the Black Hills.

One of the highlights of this hotel is its Vertex Sky Bar, located on the top two floors. Here, you can enjoy panoramic views, live music and craft cocktails daily. The Alex Johnson Hotel also has a pub, a coffee shop and a restaurant on site for your convenience during your stay.
