A well-preserved, historic plantation on Louisiana’s famed River Road, The Inn at Houmas House offers a glimpse into the South’s former antebellum grandeur. Surrounded by lush gardens, majestic oaks and set against the backdrop of the historic Houmas Estate, the inn impresses with its striking setting and provides a romantic as well as a historic getaway.

The property itself is made up of a series of opulent cottages, offering all the modern comforts with king or queen-sized beds, well-stocked bathrooms and inviting porches that afford serene views of the estate’s verdant gardens. The historical preservation is impressive and each room's unique character reflects the inn's history, with suites boasting stylish chandeliers, separate living areas and local artwork. Flat screen TVs, WiFi, and coffee and tea makers are just some of the amenities to be found in each cottage, and guests can choose between three types of rooms and three types of suites for their stay - depending on their requirements. A freshly-prepared breakfast buffet for two is also included every morning.
