Texas is home to some of the darkest skies in America, and on this 10-day journey you’ll get to stop in multiple designated International Dark Sky parks, experiencing how and why we as humans have always been fascinated by the night sky – and there’s no better way to do this than by camping in a motorhome.

From the unspoiled beauty of the Panhandle Plains in the north to the historic roots of the South Texas Plains in the south, you’ll pass through Texas’ bountiful nature across prairies and lakes, stunning landscapes in Big Bend, lush fields and vineyards in Hill Country, otherworldly forests and diverse ecosystems in Piney Woods and get a glimpse of the tranquil shores along the Gulf Coast.

You’ll be starting you trip in the glistening modern city of Dallas and ending your stay in the hip live music capital of Austin, getting a taste for the urban and natural wonders to be found across the Lone Star State.
