Weather

Stretching from Chicago to California, Route 66 offers something for everyone no matter the time of year, but the best months to go are between early April and early November. The shoulder seasons of spring and autumn offer the best weather with temperatures ranging from 19°C to 30°C – guaranteeing a pleasant stay. Summer tends to be hot with temperatures going up to the mid-30s across all stops along the highway, and winters range from cold to temperate depending on where you are situated along Route 66.
