Today, you’ll depart before sunrise for a wildlife viewing in Grand Teton National Park, where you’ll get to see elk, bison, pronghorn, wolves, eagles, black bears, grizzly bears and more. Widely considered America’s equivalent to the European alps, the Tetons boast 310,000 acres of lush valley floors, mountain meadows, alpine lakes, diverse wildlife and jagged peaks offering something for both nature and wildlife lovers. You’ll spend the early morning out with your expert naturalist guide – an excellent wildlife spotter, who will treat you to the highlights and off the beaten path gems of the park.

Come late morning, you’ll enjoy a private tour of the National Museum of Wildlife Art. The Museum’s permanent collection boasts over 5,000 catalogued items includes paintings, sculpture, and works on paper by over 100 distinguished artists ranging from early American Tribes through to contemporary masters. Lunch will be at the museum’s restaurant overlooking the National Elk Refuge before returning to your hotel to spend the afternoon at your leisure in Jackson Hole.

In the evening, dine in one of the many excellent local eateries before heading out for a night of stargazing in Grand Teton National Park. You will be accompanied by a local astronomer guide and a high powered telescope. With low levels of light pollution and high elevations, there will be plenty to see in the night skies.
