The best time to visit Quebec City is May-September with the best weather and the most events. Summer (June-August) is sunnier with averages of 17-20°C, while spring (April-May) begins cold and becomes mild in May. Autumn (September-October) can be warm in September before cooling markedly in October. The long winter (November-March) is very cold with a lot of snowfall December-February. Rainfall is quite constant throughout the year, but somewhat drier February-April and June-September.
