Overview & Highlights
The French-Canadian province of Quebec has wonderful scenery of lakes, forests, high gorges and fjords, while its cities boast centuries of history and some of the best food in Canada.
Best known for unique cities Montreal and Quebec, which combine historic architecture with Gallic charm and superb year-round festivals, this 1,600-km Classic Quebec tour introduces you to unexpected sites, spectacular scenery and memorable wildlife – from Mont-Tremblant to La Mauricie, Lac Saint Jean, Saguenay fjord and Charlevoix.
Begin in Mont Tremblant, one of Quebec’s most stunning national parks with hiking and canoeing trails past lakes, peaks and beaches. Then explore the waterfalls, rafting and canyoning in La Mauricie National Park.
Head north to the shores and beaches of vast Lac Jean before taking an unforgettable trip through the dramatic Saguenay Fjord to watch humpback whales.
Journey south to the Charlevoix region and visit the steep gorges of Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière Malbaie National Park, then indulge on the Route des Saveurs, a flavour trail highlighting the region’s many gastronomic delights.
Finish your trip by visiting the cobbled lanes, cosy bistros and historic sites of Quebec City, one of the only remaining walled cities in North America.

Our expert's opinion
“There’s nowhere like Quebec, a province where French cuisine and culture dominates, so it’s no surprise that the food here is some of the best in Canada. The province’s stunning scenery does surprise many visitors though – Quebec’s high gorges and fjords may not be as famous as the mountains of Western Canada but they are extraordinarily beautiful. ”
