Clothing & special equipment

Even though the weather from June to September is warm and clear in the Pacific Northwest, it cannot hurt to bring a couple thin layers and a poncho or umbrella for visiting the coastlines and the national parks. The weather can also get chilly in the evenings, so a light jacket, sweatshirt or windbreaker is advisable on this journey.

Weather

The Pacific Northwest is a year-round destination that offers something for everyone no matter the time of year, however the summer months of June to August and the shoulder months of May and September are easily the best times for visiting as temperatures will be sitting between 17°C and 27°C guaranteeing a pleasant stay. All of the Pacific Northwest’s national parks are fully accessible during these months and most major events and festivals will also be in full swing.
