Lake Quinault Lodge
A historic retreat on the serene shores of Olympic National Forest, Lake Quinault Lodge is a place where one can truly retreat. A grand, rustic lodge built in 1926, it has welcomed guests with its warmth, hospitality and home-away-from-home comforts ever since. Here, you can unwind in front of the impressive stone fireplace, dine in the historic Roosevelt Dining Room, paddle or fish in the afternoon sun, or venture deep into the temperate rain forest and enjoy the cool shade of the giant trees. At the end of each day, reserve some time for swimming in the indoor pool or relaxing in the sauna.
The lodge offers cosy rooms with a rustic ambience and modern amenities - including fireplaces, lake views and private balconies depending on the unit. The lodge is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has hosted prominent guests like President Franklin D. Roosevelt in the early 1930s.
