Weather

April to October is the best time to visit Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes, coinciding with the whale-watching season. The summer months (June-August) are warmest with the most sunshine, driest weather and busiest events schedule. Autumn (September-October) can be a very attractive time to visit with the Fall colours, while spring is the best time to see the region’s many waterfalls. Winter is low season with many places shut down in Atlantic Canada, while parts of Quebec and Ontario can be extremely cold.
