Visit the fascinating cities of Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City by rail before driving through wild scenery and enjoying delicious seafood in the maritime provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
Your tour begins in Canada’s biggest city Toronto. Explore its beautiful waterfront and diverse downtown before ascending 450 metres up CN Tower, one of the world’s tallest buildings. Take an optional a cruise on Lake Ontario, then in the evening enjoy the city’s cuisine in Chinatown and Kensington Market.
Take an unforgettable day trip to wonder of the world Niagara Falls, before taking the train east to Canada’s capital Ottawa. Visit the city’s historic buildings and museums including Canada’s National Gallery.
Take the train into the province of Quebec and explore Montreal, famous for its churches and French-Canadian cuisine. Visit the city’s museums and botanical gardens, then take a scenic St Lawrence River cruise. Enjoy the grandeur of Quebec City, the only walled city in North America and explore the French-Canadian heritage of its cobblestone streets, murals and bistros.
Your final rail journey brings you to the maritime province of New Brunswick. Enjoy the waterfront promenade of Bathurst, then drive to the wineries of Moncton before exploring the wonders of the Bay of Fundy, famous for the highest tides in the world. Kayak past dramatic sea stacks, walk on the ocean floor and enjoy an unforgettable whale-watching tour.
Take the ferry across to Nova Scotia and drive across the island, exploring either the historic sites and wineries of Annapolis Valley or the rugged scenery of Kejimkujik National Park en route to Halifax.
Delve into the Nova Scotian capital’s fascinating history and visit nearby Peggy’s Cove lighthouse and the elegant colonial town of Lunenburg before feasting on Halifax’s famous seafood delicacies.
