Weather

Summer (June-August) is the best time to visit Ontario and Quebec with the most sunshine and drier weather, and often hot in southern regions. Winter (November-March) can be very cold in northern and eastern areas with more snow, but less severely cold in the south and around the Great Lakes. Spring (March-May) and autumn (September-October) are often cool to mild with more rainfall. The autumn colours make this a popular season for visiting rural areas and parks, while spring is a great time to see waterfalls.
