After staying overnight in Toronto, collect your Cruise Canada motorhome. Take the easy two-hour drive to amazing Niagara Falls. Base yourself at Riverside Park Campground alongside the beautiful upper Niagara River, just minutes from the Falls. See the Falls from various vantage points, including the incredible bird’s eye view on a helicopter ride.
Take a Journey Behind the Falls or an iconic boat cruise in the swirling waters below, then watch a thrilling IMAX movie.
The region is also famous for its theatres, golf, shopping and wineries. The flat terrain means that cycling is a great way to explore the Wine Route, as well as charming small towns such as Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Days 3-4 Swimming and alpine adventures in Blue Mountain
Today you’ll drive to Blue Mountain. Your next port of call is Wasaga Pines Resort on the rugged shores of Georgian Bay. Wasaga Beach is the longest freshwater beach in the world, so it’s a great place for a swim. The crystal clear waters of Georgian Bay are ideal for water activities such as kayaking and even shipwreck diving.
Visit nearby Blue Mountain Resort, which offers a variety of outdoor adventures, including Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster, Scenic Caves Nature Adventures, cycling and golf.

Today, travel through Ontario’s playground, Muskoka, known for its sparkling lakes, dramatic landscape and quaint towns. Head north-east to the famous Algonquin Provincial Park. Set in beautiful, quintessentially Canadian countryside surrounded by towering pine trees, the Algonquin Trails Campground is located just outside the park. Algonquin offers hiking trails and canoeing. Watch for wildlife too, and cruise on the RMS Segwun, the oldest operating steamship in the world, based in Gravenhurst.

Days 7-8 Explore historic Ottawa
Head east to the vibrant city of Ottawa, Canada’s federal capital. En route, consider whitewater rafting near Forester’s Falls. Cruise, walk or cycle along the Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Meander around ByWard Market in downtown Ottawa, one of North America’s largest and oldest farmer’s markets. Highlights of the city’s museums and galleries include the Canadian Museum of Civilization, National Gallery of Canada, Canadian Museum of Nature and Royal Canadian Mint.
· 320 km to Popular Grove Campsite
Day 9 Explore 1000 Islands and historic Kingston
Travel south along the Rideau Heritage Route and visit charming towns on your way to the 1000 Islands. Ivy Lea Campsite is ideally located, set amid the granite and greenery of the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Reserve. It’s a haven for boating, scuba diving, sailing and kayaking. Explore the breathtaking beauty of the 1000 Islands on a cruise past verdant isles, palatial waterfront homes and quaint island cottages. Visit the nearby historic city of Kingston, and stop off at historic Fort Henry. Once inside the fortification’s wooden gates you’ll enter a fascinating reproduction of 19th century military life.

Day 10 Enjoy Toronto’s arts, culture and food
The final part of your adventure takes you along the shores of Lake Ontario back to Toronto.
If you have time, stop off in Prince Edward County along The Taste Trail. Drive along the self-guided routes linking restaurants, artisanal food producers, and wineries, and visit one of Canada’s best beaches in Sandbanks Provincial Park.
We recommend returning your motorhome early the next morning and spending a night or two in Toronto. Explore the city’s world-class waterfront, culture and cuisine.
