When is the best time to visit Muskoka Lakes?

The best time to visit Muskoka Lakes is during the summer (June-August) when it’s pleasantly warm (18-25 °C), although rain is more common than elsewhere in Ontario. Winter (November – March) is cold with snow particularly December-February, while spring (April-May) and autumn (September-October) are relatively cool and comfortable. June and October are the wettest months. Autumn is a particularly beautiful time to admire the colourful change of seasons.
