The region of Blue Mountains is popular in summer and winter alike for alpine adventures on the slopes.

In summer, the charming pedestrian village of Blue Mountain is a great base for activities in the surrounding hills, including ziplining, climbing, hiking and cycling. In winter, visitors flock here to enjoy some 43 ski and snowboarding trails, as well as the popular Woodview Mountaintop Skating Loop.

Thornbury is the largest town in Blue Mountains with an attractive waterfront, marina and pier, while Clarksburg is the cultural centre with art galleries and theatres.

The region grows 18 varieties of apples and the Apple Pie Trail is a famous route through orchards and breweries along Southern Georgian Bay.
