Bartlett Lodge

This rustic lodge has been welcoming visitors to its tranquil lakeside setting in Algonquin since 1917.

In a secluded location accessible by water taxi on Cache Lake east of Huntsville, Bartlett Lodge offers comfortable, charming accommodation in log cabins, artist studios and glamping tents.

The lakefront cabins are thoughtfully decorated with patchwork bedspreads and local artwork. Each has either one, two or three bedrooms, sitting rooms, private bathrooms, coffee-makers, fridges and canoes for guest use.

Artist studio suites are located in the century-old main building with private porches and elegant furnishing, while glamping tents have beds, seating and an adjacent private washroom building with showers.

Accommodation is free of TVs and phones with limited Wifi access to maximise the lodge’s ambience of peace and escape in nature.

The lodge has a games room, firepit and restaurant serving gourmet cuisine, including a four-course dinner, sourced from mainly local ingredients. The lodge also offers nature hikes, fishing, canoeing and cruises to explore the beautiful scenery of Algonquin, Canada’s oldest provincial park.
