The park has fantastic hiking trails and chances to see wide-ranging wildlife, including black bears, moose, caribou and bald eagles.
On the water, take a boat trip to the shimmering fjord of Western Brook Pond, and Bonne Bay to watch marine life including minke whales and seals.
The best places to stay near the park are Deer Lake and Rocky Harbour, which has several attractions including the Glass Station’s fascinating examples of local glass art, and the Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse on the edge of town.
