When is the best time to visit Woodstock?
Woodstock is a year-round destination but the best time to visit is May to October when the weather is warmest and sunniest, albeit with rain most common May to August. Summer (June-August) has average temperatures of 20-27°C and can get hot at times with occasional thunderstorms, while autumn (September-October) is the best time to explore the countryside for the spectacular Fall colours, especially in October. Spring (April-May) ranges from cold to mild with temperatures from 5-15°C. Winter (November-March) sees temperatures from 5°C down to -10°C with snow most common December-February.
What is the time difference between the UK and Woodstock?
Woodstock uses Eastern Standard Time (GMT – 5), observing Daylight Saving Time (GMT – 4) March to November.
What places combine well with Woodstock?
One of the biggest advantages of holidaying in New England is the relatively short distance between destinations by US standards. Woodstock is easily combined with elsewhere in Vermont and New England. Stowe and Burlington are 1.5 hour’s drive north. White Mountains and the Lakes in New Hampshire are two hours south-east and Boston 2.5 hours south-east.
