Mystic Seaport Museum
Discover America’s maritime history and board original tall ships at Mystic Seaport Museum.
Mystic Seaport Museum encompasses a world-renowned preservation shipyard, 19th-century seafaring village and formal galleries with permanent and rotating exhibits that explore America’s relationship with the sea.
Visit the actively working preservation shipyard where ships and boats are restored and maintained. Docked alongside a recreated 19th Century seaport village, three tall ships can be explored. Among them is the Charles W. Morgan, the last wooden whaleship in the world. Climb aboard and go below decks to learn about the men and women who lived on the ship.
