Kayaking with Beluga Whales
Go kayaking on the Churchill River amongst pods of curious beluga whales.
Paddle beside a pod of beluga whales in the Churchill River with an experienced guide. Hudson Bay is home to over 50,000 beluga whales and in summer many gather in the Churchill River to feed and give birth. Belugas are curious creatures and often trail behind the kayaks.
This three-hour excursion takes place at low tide, spending time with the beluga whales in their natural environment. This adventure is safe for beginners and first-time kayakers; a short instructional session will be provided. Included are equipment (single or double kayak, wet suit, life jacket and neoprene boots), experienced guide, and dockside transfers.
