Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Las Vegas and take a luxury private transfer to your hotel.

Arrive among the neon lights of the world-famous Las Vegas Strip. Home to colossal casino resorts and styled as the Capital of Entertainment, take the day to stroll around the sights and sounds of the one place where glamour and extravagance are celebrated like nowhere else on Earth. Chances are you’ll be a bit jetlagged, and this is the perfect way to ease into the start of your trip after getting settled into your hotel. You’ll be up early the next morning on an adventure so don’t forget to get a good night’s sleep.

Las Vegas

Day 2 Take your pick from one of four fantastic excursions to nearby natural wonders.

Las Vegas is ideally located for visiting a range of natural wonders: the Grand Canyon, Death Valley, Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire. Choose between an exhilarating helicopter tour to a private bluff in the Grand Canyon, a guided day trip to Death Valley, a tour of Red Rock Canyon and ride through the famed Rocky Gap or a full day tour of the prehistoric Valley of Fire. Whatever you select, you will have an unforgettable experience, and plenty to talk about later that day over dinner.

Day 3 Pick up your rental car and head to Utah’s adventure capital, Kanab.

Collect your rental car in the morning and head out on a 3-hour drive to Utah’s capital of adventure, Kanab. This small desert town is the gateway to some of the USA’s most popular national parks and attractions. From here you’ll have easy access to innumerable locations including the Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce Canyon. It is also the gateway to the lesser known but no less incredible sites of Peekaboo Slot Canyon, White Wave and White Pocket – all of which can be seen on an easy guided or private hiking tour. Get settled in to cosy Canyons Lodge and start exploring.

Peekaboo Slot Canyon and the White Wave can easily be combined – and White Pocket is just a short distance away, providing a full day’s worth of amazing locations. For those who want to get a head start on the Grand Canyon, Kanab’s proximity allows for that too.

Drive first thing in the morning the one and only, the Grand Canyon. Less visited but no less magnificent, the Grand Canyon North Rim is for those who enjoy the road less travelled, with abundant wildlife, hiking trails and unparalleled views of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World on offer. You’ll arrive at Grand Canyon Lodge, which sits at 8,000 feet in elevation and greets guests with breathtaking views of the canyon. Spend the day exploring the North Rim with a hike of your choosing or stop by the visitor centre to join a ranger-led nature walk – and don’t forget to watch the sun set come evening.

Day 6 Continue to Lake Powell/Page to see the awe-inspiring Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend.

Head to Lake Powell/Page for your next stop: the awe-inspiring Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. Two of America’s most iconic natural wonders, you’ll get to see them right after you get settled into your hotel, Lake Powell Resort. This combined tour will take you away from the tourist crowds so you can get the most from your visit and properly explore – and photograph – the otherworldly sights in Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. If time permits, spend the rest of the day enjoying the beautiful shores of the manmade Lake Powell.

Day 7 Tour iconic Monument Valley with a Navajo guide.

Immortalised in films of the Wild West, Monument Valley is an iconic symbol of America’s past and the heart of the Navajo Nation. Still as raw, natural and unspoiled as it was hundreds of years ago, the valley hosts towering sandstone rock formations – affectionately known as the Merrick and Mitten Buttes – that soar 400 to 1,000 feet above the valley floor and have to be seen to be believed. Couple this with surrounding mesas and vast desert expanse, and the sheer grandeur of the place is breathtaking. You’ll be shown around by a Navajo guide on a Jeep tour that will even take you to the backcountry – usually only accessed by the Navajo themselves.

Day 8 Head to Moab, the heart of Utah’s adventure epicentre.

An oasis widely considered the heart of Utah’s adventure epicentre, Moab is one of the most sought-after destinations in the American West, and the perfect base for exploring the rugged beauty of Utah’s National Parks region. Traverse one of the three scenic byways on your way into town before getting settled in at the Aarchway Inn. Spend some time exploring the town as the downtown district has an impressive array of restaurants, microbreweries, shops, and galleries to satisfy any palate. Spend the evening looking up at the stars – Moab is home to some of the darkest night skies in the world, and chances are, you won’t get a better view.

Day 9 Spend the day discovering Arches National Park

Home to the largest proliferation of arches in the world over a 73,234-acre wonderland that’s been sculpted by wind and time, Arches National Park is widely considered unmissable amongst Utah’s National Parks. Explore on your own throughout the day or wait until the afternoon to head to the park for a Sunset Tour. A hike through Landscape Arch at sunset is a must for any visitor, and this private guided tour will offer an unforgettable experience.

Day 11 Continue on to the town of Boulder for a day of hiking or pampering.

After breakfast drive down to the former pioneer town of Boulder. You can pass by the amazing views of Cathedral Valley in Capitol Reef National Park to break up your 3-hour journey, or you can just drive there directly and spend the rest of your day exploring the excellent hiking trails in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument or the Dalí-esque hoodoos in nearby Devils Garden. Spend the evening relaxing in the lodge’s hot tub or enjoying a meal in one of the town’s fine local restaurants.

Day 12 Head to Bryce Canyon National Park and explore this iconic area.

Continue first thing in the morning to the iconic spires of Bryce Canyon National Park. Recognised the world over and featuring miles upon miles of spires of rock, one can watch the golden hues of the stones change throughout the landscape as the sun rises and sets, take a 1.5 hour guided horseback ride through the Park’s highlights and spend the evening on a private Dark Skies telescope tour – the choice is up to you. The Bryce Canyon Lodge, where you’ll be settling in, offers an incredible range of activities too so you’ll have no problem finding more things than you have time for to do.

Day 13 Take a 2-hour drive to your final stop: Zion National Park.

After breakfast head to the final stop on your itinerary: Zion National Park. Known for its stunning scenery, follow the Virgin River throughout the main canyon on a guided half day hiking tour to see the lush greenery contrast with the bright orange cliffs, or choose to explore the park on foot at your leisure. Just keep in mind adventurers won’t want to miss out on Angel’s Landing. You’ll be staying at a lodge in the park with unparalleled views of the towering sandstone cliffs, and you’ll find your accommodation also offers plenty to do.

Day 14 Finish your trip with another day of exploration or take a guided adventure on the famed Narrows hike.

Spend your last day exploring the otherworldly locales of Zion National Park. We recommend taking a guided adventure on one of the most sough-after hikes in the United States: The Narrows. You will hike between towering walls of beautifully sculpted read sandstone and through surreal-looking clear waters all the while immersing yourself in nature like never before.
