Sedona FAQs

Find out all you need to know about visiting Sedona.

When is the best time to visit Sedona?

Sedona is a great place to visit year round thanks to its warm desert climate. The best time to visit Sedona is from March to May or September to November when the temperatures are warm – expect daytime highs between the high teens and high 20s – and the skies are sunny and blue. Summer can be hot with temperatures up to 35°C, but with the occasional summer monsoon and the abundance of water activities in the area, the heat doesn’t have to be a problem. Come winter, the temperatures drop, and the odd dusting of snow can be seen on Sedona’s red rocks. Expect daytime temperatures to be in the low teens and nighttime temperatures to be around freezing between the months of December to February.
