Grand Canyon FAQs

Find out all you need to know about visiting Grand Canyon.

When is the best time to visit Grand Canyon?

The best time to go to the Grand Canyon is between April and May or September and October when the weather is pleasantly warm, and the peak tourist season is over. Expect plenty of sunshine and daytime temperatures ranging from the high teens to the low 20s. Summer can get hot with temperatures reaching up to 30°, but if you like the heat it’s an equally beautiful time to go. The weather drops during the winter months, and snowfall makes the South Rim difficult to get to and the North Rim completely inaccessible.

What is the time difference between the UK and Grand Canyon?

What places combine well with Grand Canyon?

A trip to the Grand Canyon can easily be combined with a variety of locations. Start your trip in Las Vegas and drive or daytrip down to the Grand Canyon. Visit the iconic Monument Valley either before or after your journey to the Grand Canyon. Or spend time in some of Arizona’s vibrant cities like Phoenix, Flagstaff or Sedona before or after your visit. The scenic views and adventures in between are as worth the drive as the destinations.
