Weather

The best time to visit Minnesota and the Great Lakes region is April to October when the weather is warmest with the most sunshine. Spring arrives by early April, while summer brings average temperatures ranging 18-28°C. Autumn is a comfortable average of 12°C, but can range 5-20°C, and the colours make this an attractive time. Winter temperatures range 10°C to -10°C with harsher conditions, snow and cold winds off the lakes.
