The legendary Motown record label was founded in Detroit in the late 1950's, and the city’s musical history is best discovered in the expanded Motown Museum.

Highlights include the actual apartment Berry Gordy lived in with his family during the label’s earliest days, plus original recording equipment and the legendary Studio A.
