Find out all you need to know about visiting East Coast of Florida.

When is the best time to visit East Coast of Florida?

The best time to visit the east coast of Florida is from early November to early May with the clearest skies and most sunshine. However, note that temperatures vary between the south and the north. As far north as St Augustine, temperatures can dip down to just 9°C December to February so it’s too cold for beach holidays. The best time to visit the central and north-eastern coast is October-November and March-May, while the southern resorts closer to Miami are often warm throughout the year. June to September is the hottest, rainiest period with temperatures often over 30°C, higher humidity with regular storms and overcast conditions. August to October is peak hurricane season with windy conditions and occasional strong storms.
