Choosing the right airline for your journey to North America is an important part of the holiday planning process. On long haul routes, most airlines offer as standard complimentary meals and bar service, individual seat back entertainment systems, and headsets. When travelling business or first class, you can expect to have access to airline lounges around the world and receive complimentary amenity kits on board.

Some airlines offer only a two class service (economy and business or club class). More companies are now reintroducing first class seats and many have launched a premium economy service which offers some benefits of the premium classes at a more affordable price. Even in economy some airlines allow you to pre-book a seat with extra legroom for a modest supplement.
