The best time to visit Niagara Falls is summer (June-August) when temperatures usually range 20-25°C with sunny, drier weather, but this is also the busiest time. Winter (November-March) is cold but not as severely cold as elsewhere in the region. There is frequent snow and Lake Erie sometimes freezes over in mid-winter. Spring (March-May) and autumn (September-October) are generally comfortably cool but also the wettest time of year.
