It’s approximately 130 or 190km from these depots respectively to the Blueberry Hill RV Park, just inland from the superb Atlantic beaches and the world-class entertainment of Atlantic City. Visit nearby Long Branch, a favourite beach resort of many former Presidents and site of Beaux-arts Woodrow Wilson Hall.
· 130km/190km from New York/Newark to Blueberry Hill RV Park.
Day 2 Historic Philadelphia

· 96km to Philadelphia
Day 3 Iconic sites of Washington DC
Continue south to College Park, the closest RV resort to Washington DC and the world’s oldest continuously operating airport, founded by the Wright brothers a century ago. There is plenty of public transport to get into DC from here.
Take in Washington DC’s amazing array of historic sites. Visit Capitol Hill, the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, the Smithsonian and the Kennedy gravesite in Arlington National Cemetery.
· 190km to College Park for Washington DC.
Day 4 Historic Bedford Pennsylvania
Drive north today through Pennsylvania. Bedford is a great place to break the drive up to the shores of Lake Erie. The town is a National Historic District with many traditional covered bridges. Be sure to visit Old Bedford Village and Fort Bedford.
· 225km to Friendship Village, Bedford
Day 5 Beaches and nature of Presque Isle State Park
Continue along the shore of Lake Erie to Presque Isle State Park, famous for its beaches and nature trails. This sandy peninsula juts out into Lake Erie, with several lighthouses dotted on its shore. Visit the rides and slides of Waldameer Park and Water World or check out some nearby Lake Erie wineries.
· 360km to Erie
Day 6 Towering Niagara Falls
Head west today to iconic Niagara Falls. Enjoy this wonder of the world from a variety of perspectives – a boat trip or helicopter ride. The Falls are even more spectacular on the Canadian side but you’ll need to ensure you have a visa to cross. You can walk across the Rainbow Bridge or two other crossings. A trip aboard the famous Maid of the Mist boat cruise is not to be missed.
· 185km to Niagara Falls
Days 7-8 Scenery of Finger Lakes and Watkins Glen State Park
Head south today to New York State’s picturesque Finger Lakes area. Watkins Glen State Park is one of the most spectacular in the region, renowned for its waterfalls. · 410km to Lake George
Day 11 New Jersey and New York City
Head back into New Jersey on a half-day drive towards the metropolitan New York area. · 195km to Hither Hills State Park
Day 13 Long Island and Manhattan
After a day or two relaxing on the beaches and in the restaurants and wineries of the Hamptons, return back down the other side of Long Island. Overnight is back in Jersey City for fun in New York. Visit Manhattan again and take the views from above at Top of the Rock or One World Trade Center.
