Hotel Monteleone has been a landmark of the city since 1886, and has hosted many famous writers, celebrities and dignitaries. A firm favorite with creatives, it’s been a regular haunt of many famous authors, including William Faulkner, Tennessee Williams and Ernest Hemingway.

The hotel’s most famous attraction is its Carousel Bar, a revolving bar that features a circus-themed merry-go-round and live music. Hotel Monteleone also has a fine dining restaurant, Criollo, that serves seasonal Louisiana cuisine with a contemporary twist.

Rooms are elegantly designed to fit in with the history of the hotel, and guests can choose to stay in either a room or suite. Each accommodation is fitted with extensive amenities, ensuring a pleasant stay.
