New Orleans

The birthplace of Jazz and the cocktail, you’ll find musicians, tunes and tasty drinks on every corner. Flit between bars and speakeasies to catch world-class performances. Each neighbourhood has its own character: stroll past original 18th and 19th century buildings, decorated with cast-iron balconies and pastel walls in the French Quarter. Venture into the Garden District to see the grand mansions and smell the jasmine-scented air. Visit the museums and award-winning restaurants in the Arts Warehouse District. Ride on the St. Charles Streetcar to get around town, but before you do make sure to stop at Café du Monde for some beignets and don’t leave New Orleans without trying the city’s signature cocktail, the Sazerac. A city where the past is well-preserved, you’ll want to get lost in the traditions that have been passed down here through the generations.
