See a Live Performance at Ground Zero Blues Club
See local up and coming Blues musicians and Grammy award winning artists perform here year round.
Located at Blues Alley not far from the Delta Blues Museum in the heart of historic downtown Clarksdale, the iconic Ground Zero Blues Club is known by Blues enthusiasts as the authentic Blues club in the Mississippi Delta. Housed in a repurposed, un-remodelled building, it is in the style of a juke joint with mismatched decor, random lights, posters, stickers, and the odd bit of graffiti adding to its character. Welcomed as a place where local musicians can work regularly in their genre, it was established in 2001 by Memphis entertainment executive, Howard Stovall, Eric Meier and actor, Morgan Freeman.
Unchanged since the club’s inception, you can feel the Blues before the music even begins. Sit back with a drink and let the music wash over you or grab a bite to eat while listening at one of the many tables.
