You’ll arrive in the Cincy Region, often called the gateway to the Deep South, driving to the heart of Kentucky’s horse county and bluegrass the very next day. An overnight in Lexington will be followed by two nights in Kentucky’s largest city, Louisville. The capital of country music, the city strikes a chord with music lovers of any genre. Our expert's opinion
“This trip combines some incredible destinations of the Deep South. Kentucky is a state I had never really thought about until I visited, and it left a long-lasting impression on me. It is absolutely gorgeous, and the countryside, the horse culture and the bourbon will wow anyone. No trip to Nashville is complete without a trip to Broadway or the Grand Ole Opry to experience the “Hollywood” of country music and visit some amazing museums. What I love is you also get to end the trip in another underrated state – Alabama. A trip there will leave you thinking about its rich history, southern hospitality and of course good music!”
