Maison Mouton is located in a restored Creole house that dates back to 1820, offering a glimpse into the Acadians’ lifestyle of the early 1800s. This is a place that doesn’t hold back when it comes to preserving and showcasing the heritage and architecture of its surroundings.

The bed and breakfast is home to eclectic antique furnishings, and is known for its delicious chef-prepared breakfast, featuring local specialties like shrimp and grits or biscuits and coffee. A little later in the day, you’ll want to swing back to sample the hotel’s cocktail hour with live music. A top spot for couples, this quaint property has a quiet and romantic atmosphere, surrounded by ancient oak trees and a beautiful garden.
