Jekyll Island

Jekyll Island can be seen by bike or foot with more than 24 miles of scenic paths and trails, and highlights of the island include the iconic Driftwood Beach, where a graveyard of dead trees transforms the shoreline into an otherworldly spectacle, and the Historic Landmark District, where the beautiful buildings hark back to another time and the 300-year old oak trees dripping with Spanish moss add a majestic aura. May is nesting season for the island’s sea turtles, and Jekyll Island is one of the few places where you can experience this phenomenon up close.
