This morning, depart from Winnipeg on an early chartered flight to the remote community of Churchill, Manitoba.
Upon arrival into Churchill, enjoy a town and area tour including visits and admissions to the Parks Canada Visitor Centre and the Itsanitaq Museum.
There is ample time to discover Churchill by exploring unique shops, family-run restaurants and a cultural museum that portrays the historical importance of the area. During your free time, consider an optional helicopter tour.
Overnight in Churchill. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 3 Dog Sledding and Tundra Buggy Lodge

Enjoy a dogsledding excursion and interpretative programme in the morning. A dog mushing experience takes you on a 1.6 km sled ride behind a team of dogs – on snow, or by wheeled cart if the ground is bare. Since the dogs love to run, either ride will be exhilarating. You will be treated to local stories and learn how the dogs are trained.
Late afternoon transfer to the Tundra Buggy launch site where you will make your way into the Churchill Wildlife Management Area.
Once you arrive at the Tundra Buggy Lodge located at Polar Bear Point about 35km east of Churchill, you will be greeted by the lodge staff and given a brief orientation of the accommodation.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Evenings are spent dining on delicious home-cooked meals, and enjoying presentations by Polar Bears International. If weather and conditions are right, you may have an opportunity to view the Northern Lights.
