California

Overview & Highlights

From world-famous cities to world-class beaches, California is at the forefront of contemporary culture, so discover this incredible state with a road trip along the iconic Pacific Coast Highway. You’ll be starting in San Francisco, ending in San Diego and taking in key sights and experiences along the way.

First up is San Francisco. One of the world’s most famous cities, you’ll get to see it from the Golden Gate Bridge and the heart of the city’s centre. You’ll then continue to Monterey, well-known for its coastal beauty and marine life – which you’ll get to see on a whale watching tour – before you head down to the chic coastal town of Santa Barbara.

An overnight stay offers wine tasting and kayaking before you drive on to the City of Angels, Los Angeles. Take in its glittering sights while getting to know it’s impressive seaside neighbour, Santa Monica.

You’ll then depart the following morning for Surf City, USA: Huntington Beach. Relax on 16 miles of pure, uninterrupted coastline before heading to the sunny southern California metropolis of San Diego. Split your time between the city’s outstanding cultural attractions and the resort’s private beach. You’ll end your trip with a sunset sail and nearly two weeks’ worth of incredible memories.
