Carter House Inn
A charming Victorian inn in Eureka’s historic district, with a fine dining restaurant and an award-winning wine cellar, Carter House Inn is made up of four unique buildings, each with its own character and style. Situated along Humboldt Bay in Old Town, it offers cosy rooms with complete with modern amenities like cable TV, coffee makers and free WiFi, with some unites featuring fireplaces, spa tubs and bay views. Each room is also decorated with original artworks from local artists.
Carter House is renowned for its Restaurant 301, which serves delicious dishes made with organic produce from the it’s own garden. The restaurant also boasts a wine list of over 3,800 selections, consistently earning the Wine Spectator Grand Award since 1998.
Conveniently located near the Redwood Coast, the Carter House Inn also offers horticultural education seminars, as well as wine tasting events and tours throughout the year.
