Weather

A year-round destination, California offers something for everyone no matter the time of year. The summer and the shoulder months of April to May and September to October are easily the best times for visiting the state as temperatures will be sitting between 19°C and 30°C guaranteeing a pleasant stay. All of California’s national parks are fully accessible during these months – although it’s best to leave Death Valley for the winter – and most major events and festivals will be in full swing.
