Canoeing in Whistler

Canoe through the wetlands of Whistler and admire fantastic views of the mountains and local wildlife.

The trip starts with a river orientation at Lakeside Park, then guests paddle across Alta Lake. Once on the river, float with the flow through Whistler’s wetlands, enjoying breathtaking mountain vistas and wildlife watching including bears, beaver and a variety of birds.

This excursion is on a flat-water oxbow river, which winds its way between Alta and Green Lake. As the river opens up on the other side you’ll be collected at Dream River Park and enjoy a snack before returning to the village. Guide to guest boat ratio is 1:5.
