Rocky Mountaineer Luxury Rail Trip

The Rocky Mountaineer train is one of the best ways to take in the wonderful scenery of the Canadian Rockies in style. This luxury train has spacious, comfortable coaches with large windows to enjoy the panoramic mountain scenery.

The Silver Leaf Service offers comfortable carriages with gourmet breakfast and lunch, but we recommend you upgrade to Gold Leaf Service, which includes food prepared by executive chefs, glass-domed coaches and an outdoor viewing area to maximise enjoyment of the views.

The Rocky Mountaineer runs several routes departing Vancouver – Journey through the Clouds to Jasper via Kamloops, First Passage to the West via Kamloops to Banff or Lake Louise, and Rainforest to Gold Rush to Jasper via Whistler and Quesnel.

In Journey through the Clouds, travel through lush forests and canyons of Fraser Valley, surrounded by the Coast and Cascade Mountains to Kamloops. Then cross into Alberta, follow the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains past Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Pyramid Falls and over Yellowhead Pass into Jasper National Park.
