Explore Stanley Park
This 1000-acre park on a peninsular at the north of the city has trails through rainforest and along the famous Sea Wall, the longest uninterrupted waterfront path in the world. Take in the Siwash Rock, a 32-million-year-old sea stack, relax on one of the park’s beaches, spot harbour seals and enjoy spectacular views over English Bay.
In the park’s leafy interior, immerse yourself in the forest canopy, explore the Rhododendron and Rose Gardens, admire the First Nation totem poles at Brockton Point, relax by the lagoon and ride the Stanley Park Train through the heart of the park. A great way to take in more of the park is on a bike tour, covering 9-10km.
