When is the best time to visit Sunshine Coast?

The Sunshine Coast has a milder climate than much of Canada with more sunshine in summer (July-August) and less overall rainfall than elsewhere in BC. It’s warmest and driest May to September, cold and often wet in winter (November-February), generally comfortable in spring (April-June) and autumn (September-October).

What is the time difference between the UK and Sunshine Coast?

The Sunshine Coast is in the Pacific Time Zone (GMT -8:00) and switches to Pacific Daylight Time (GMT -7) on the second Sunday in March until the first Sunday in November.

What places combine well with Sunshine Coast?

The Sunshine Coast is easily combined with Vancouver and Vancouver Island, particularly Campbell River and the Discovery Islands.

What are the main cultural events in Sunshine Coast?

There are a range of music and arts festivals June-August, and while in August the Texada Annual Fly-in celebrates aviation. In October, the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl is a cultural highlight. Townsite Jazz Festival in Powell River is in April, and Lund Seafood Festival in May.
