Prince of Wales Hotel
Built in 1927, the Prince of Wales Hotel is a majestic landmark on a bluff overlooking Upper Waterton Lake and the town of Waterton. Named after Prince Edward before he was briefly crowned King Edward VIII, the hotel is a member of the Historic Hotels of America.
The cosy, traditionally-designed rooms exude a uniquely British atmosphere with antique furniture and vintage decor. Each room features a desk, telephone and free toiletries, and some rooms also have stunning views of the lake or mountains.
The hotel recalls classic British traditions with Afternoon Tea, the Royal Stewart Dining Room and the Windsor Lounge. The location is ideal for exploring the natural beauty and wildlife of Waterton Lakes National Park or, for a closer look at its unique history, there's a daily walking tour around the hotel.
