When is the best time to visit Glacier Bay?

The best time to visit Glacier Bay National Park is between late May and early September with the warmest weather and longest days. Summer (late June to August) is the best time to visit with temperatures ranging 10-18°C. May to September is also the best time for watching wildlife including bears and whales. Winters (October-April) are relatively mild ranging from 2°C down to -10°C. Spring (May-June) is generally cool with mostly dry weather, while Autumn (September-October) sees temperatures dropping from 14°C towards zero with the most rain. September-October is the best time to enjoy the Fall colours.

What is the time difference between the UK and Glacier Bay?

Glacier Bay National Park is in Alaska Standard time (GMT – 9) and observes Alaska Daylight Time (GMT – 8) March to November.
