Sheep Mountain Lodge

There are a range of cabins with private decks that open onto stunning views of the Sheep Mountains, complete with their namesake four-legged friends grazing. Classic cabins have WiFi, heating, fridges, microwaves, dining area and bathrooms, while premier cabins also have fully stocked kitchens. Meanwhile, the Mountain House is a renovated gem with three private bedrooms, full kitchen and dining area, a large living room and a covered deck with seating, perfect for families and groups. There are also simpler rooms with shared bathrooms for those on a budget.

Outside, explore 12 miles of maintained trails for hiking, wildflower walks and wildlife viewing opportunities. Make sure to check out the lodge's restaurant, which grows its own berries and supports Alaskan farmers and fishermen.
